Finger, Thumb and Hand Exercise for Gamers?

I get emails and questions from gamers all of the time regarding mostly thumb injuries and thumb and finger conditions. This may seem unusual to some but gamers are open to serious injury by contracting the thumb and finger repetitively for hours daily and developed shortened flexor muscles in comparison to the extensor muscles of the fingers and especially the thumb. It is very similar to DeQuervain's tenosynovitis or what used to be called washer woman's thumb - now it is be called 'Gamer's thumb'. Crazy how our world has progressed! Don't laugh. It is a rampant problem and similar in mechanic to 'texting thumb' and computer injuries. Our world has become more and more grip related which means more and more hand, finger thumb, wrist, carpal tunnel & elbow conditions. Proper hand exercise and regular training has never been more important. If you or a loved is a gamer, chronic texter or computer junkie, be sure they are exercising the fingers, thumbs, hands, wrists, carpal tunnel & elbow IN BALANCE. These injuries can be debilitating by the time they are painful. Maximize performance and prevent injury with balanced exercise. Handmaster Plus makes it super easy to train your entire thumb properly (through full ranges of motion). Gamers by nature in playing games will train their thumb stabilizer muscles (the extensor and abductor muscles) to be static and shortened which will often lead to thumb problems and fatigue. Train all of the hand muscles with one easy exercise and never worry about whether you're training properly or not again! Find your best hand exercise and keep strong, stable & healthy Best, doczac
